IDEA: A lively red balloon follows a boy down the streets of Paris.
BLURB: An ode to childhood ingenuity, to innocent resourcefulness, and to the creative enterprise sprung from the mind of the young; a short film of such emotional purity, wholesomeness, and undiluted imagination that speaks resolutely to the resilience of the human spirit in a world that seems intent on squandering it. Gorgeously shot and filled with indelible images, most notably of the plump, vibrant red balloon bursting incandescently out of monochromatic Parisian backdrops; of alleyways and tight cobblestone streets; of little children racing up and down blocks after an anthropomorphized latex ball. A real gem.
